Kristina S.

San Francisco Bay Area

Hi, I'm Kristina, a Product Designer from Ukraine based in San Francisco, with a decade of experience in the design industry.

I’m Krystyna Shevchenko, a seasoned UX Designer with a passion for creating accessible, user-centered digital experiences that drive results. My journey began in Dnipro, Ukraine, where I developed a love for design during my time at a physics and mathematics lyceum. Since then, I’ve honed my skills across diverse roles, industries, and challenges.

With a background in graphic design and a degree in Information Security, I transitioned into UX design in 2017, collaborating with global clients like Deloitte, Teladoc, and OverHaul at SoftServe. My expertise spans user research, design systems, and accessibility compliance, delivering innovative solutions that enhance usability and efficiency.

Now based in the U.S., I work at Experian Employer Services, modernizing legacy applications, designing self-serve features, and championing accessible, client-focused solutions. Along the way, I’ve earned a Trusted Tester Certificate and completed AI courses at Stanford University, staying at the forefront of emerging design trends.

Outside of work, I find inspiration exploring national parks, visiting 9 states and 10 parks so far, and enjoy playing piano as a creative outlet. My work is driven by a commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and impact. Let’s connect and bring exceptional experiences to life.
